The food here is outstanding. Every dish was delicious. So authentic and tasty. Unfortunately, the place was let down with the service. The staff were lovely but we were sitting in the dome and I felt like we were neglected. Maybe it was a case of out of sight out of mind. I would recommend to go there but don’t sit at the dome. I had to ask for a bowl for my mussel shells, a soup to eat the delicious tomato sauce, water top ups. We even had to go up and approach the register to order more food. No one came to check on us at all. Was a shame because it really put a dampener on the whole experience. We actually wanted to go back and try the pizzas the next night but were put off my the lack of service.

They have quiet corners where you won’t get annoyed by the people walking by to pass the laneway. What we had: Garlic bread with added mozzarella and three dips, Grilled Kebabs, Linguine Cartoccio, Paella, Lasagna, Warm chocolate brownie, Paradise Fizz mocktail, I’ll never lychee go mocktail My personal favourites were the garlic bread with the cheese, grilled kebabs, paella, lasagna and definitely the brownie. And would of course highly recommend these delicacies. Never tasted any paella this good, flavfup and packed with so much of mussels and they were of great quality. Whereas the lasagna was so comforting to eat and delicious. The grilled kebabs for me were truly sensational, the smokiness in it was just right, and the meat had a melt in the mouth effect, whereas the garlic bread is totally an irresistible indulgent that you can’t give it a miss. The goeey texture of the brownie was again superb and so tasty. The drinks were absolutely refreshing and are a must try. The seafood spaghetti was nice but for me it kinda lacked flavours. The service was prompt and attentive and the staff are all very helpful, friendly and welcoming, even though they remain busy of week nights or weekends, you will still have a great time here. The prices are very standard considering the great quality of food they serve here, also their portion sizes are super generous.

Not sure if platform 9 ¾ is real, but this Mediterranean restaurant hiding in a mysterious laneway is certainly unreal! Come through the little rabbit hole and dine in the narrow strip of walkway between buildings, how cool. . ☞︎︎︎ Saganaki The right amount of fig and honey, one of my favourite savoury & sweet dishes! ☞︎︎︎ Baby Calamari Baby everything tastes good right? xD ☞︎︎︎ Mussels - Special of the Day 1.5kg of mussels goodness ☞︎︎︎ Fungi Pizza Their pizza crust is the super thin and crispy kind, if you are a thin crust person, go for it!

Good restaurant right around the QV building in a lovely alley. We had the paella, pizza, arancini and pasta - out of these the paella was the best, it was super tasty and they were quite generous with the seafood! The other dishes were also good - but not great. Staff is quite friendly and move fast. It’s a busy venue so expect to be rushed a little as you eat/to pay and finish your meal.

Definitely one of the best vibes in Melbourne! A great place that I wouldn’t hesitate recommending or bringing visitors to. They have a great selection of classic Italian/Mediterranean dishes - pizza seems to be a classic which we should’ve ordered! The saganaki was a standout. The agnolotti was a bit bland and paella was a bit overcooked but very flavoursome.

A wonderful Italian restaurant in the heart of Melbourne CBD. The atmosphere was authentic and it was nestled in a walkway. We visited on a Sunday evening and didn’t make a booking. When we arrived it was super busy so we were grateful (and lucky) when they make some space for us. I had a lychee cocktail which was delicious. The food was yummy and prices were reasonable. The staff were enthusiastic and tentative. Worth a visit. I recommend booking to avoid disappointment 😊

Nestled in the laneway between Melbourne GPO and Myer, this iconic Mediterranean restaurant serves up an incredible array of housemade bread, crispy-based pizzas, delectable pastas, and seasonal specials - perfect for sharing. My standout favourites were the garlic bread with mozzarella cheese (a must!) and the loaded 1.2kg mussels (specials of the day). The vibes here was absolutely THE BEST.
